Feathering some nests

Congrats to the Feathers Inn in the Tyne Valley, which has been named Best Local Restaurant for the North East by the Good Food Guide 2019. Deservedly renowned for superb regional produce served up in a proper country pub with cask ale and good wine, Rhian Cradock and Helen Greer’s commitment to local suppliers and ethical, sustainable food is part of the fabric at this village pub. Well done also to Michelin-star holder James Close, whose Raby Hunt Restaurant near Darlington is listed in the top 50 in the UK by the Guide, which is out now.
