Whitley Bay’s Di Meo’s has created a special ice cream fit for a king ahead of King Charles’ coronation on Saturday May 6.
The team at the award-winning ice cream parlour chose a clotted cream-based ice cream and finished it with pieces of scone and a strawberry jam ripple to mark the occasion.
You can try a scoop – or two – in the build-up to the big day along with freshly stretched stone-baked pizza and great coffee either inside or to take down to the beach.
