Christmas is coming to Dabbawal

They say there is a festival every day of the year in India and for millions of Christians, Christmas is just as important as it is here in the UK.

An Indian Christmas is all about gathering with friends, colleagues and family to celebrate and share in feasting – and this year’s festive menu at Dabbawal is also all about sharing too. It includes Adraki Champeen – lamb chops marinated in ginger, garlic, and fresh basil; Punjabi Chilli Chicken Tikka; and Fish Amritsari – flaky, crisp fried cod fish fillets in a spiced gram flour batter to start.

There are also four curry dishes from across the subcontinent – served to share along with House Lentils, breads and Cumin Pulao – Old Delhi Butter Chicken, Kashmiri Lamb Rogan Josh, Cape Malai King Prawns and Chettinadu Turkey. There are also vegetarian and vegan options, plus a trio of desserts to finish.

The Christmas menu (lunch £25pp and dinner £35pp) is available November 28-December 31. The menu is reserved for groups of four or more. Dishes are served as sharing plates for the table and served as ready. For more information, including the full menu, and to book visit www.dabbawal.com
