A shop dedicated to cheese and the art of cheese-making has opened its doors in Jesmond.
Run by passionate foodie Moz Murphy, who describes herself as “the North East’s most enthusiastic cheese lover”, grate is home to a range of hand-picked, artisan cheeses made by producers at the top of their game.
You’ll also find carefully selected accompaniments including locally baked bread, chutneys and relishes, crackers and more. Pop in and be sure to pick Moz’s brains about the cheeses of the day.
