The Appetite team joined the party as Turtle Bay launched its third North East restaurant in Durham.
The 220-cover restaurant at Riverwalk in the heart of Durham sits on the banks of the River Wear with spectacular views up to Durham Cathedral and Castle. Inside, the two-storey space offered a taste of Caribbean culture – complete with live music from Bristol band Laid Blak.
The menu was packed with Caribbean flavours – from fiery goat curry to jerk chicken alongside 23 cocktails to choose from and 40 rum options from the island bar.
The new restaurant is open daily from breakfast til late with bottomless brunch and cocktails happy hours available every day.
