Former Masterchef contestant Mike Bartley is set to bring Bishop Auckland’s first tasting menu experience to the town, thanks to a fund which brings empty properties back into use.
Jörd is located at 2-4 Newgate Street, in prime position next to the town’s marketplace, and will bring a fine dining experience to the town at affordable prices, with the menu built around local and seasonal ingredients.
Mike said: “It’s something that’s brand new to Bishop Auckland, and our mantra is a tasting menu that you don’t need to break the bank for.”
