Forum Books is set to welcome chef and author Anna Hedworth to Artisan at The Biscuit Factory for a special event to discuss her new book, Service.
Tickets for the event, which takes place on Tuesday April 1 at 7pm, are £33 and include a signed copy of Anna’s new book.
Exploring restaurant life, Service takes readers behind the scenes of Anna’s Newcastle restaurants – Cook House and Long Friday – offering a glimpse into the daily rhythms of prep, mealtimes, and the controlled chaos of service. The book is not just a collection of seasonal and simple recipes – like spiced pancakes with poached rhubarb or braised squid in red wine with fennel – it’s a heartfelt reflection on the joys and challenges of restaurant life.
Anna will be in conversation with North East-based chef and author Maunika Gowardhan.
