For almost 20 years, Zen has been serving up exciting flavours from across Asia in the heart of the historic city of Durham. One of the first Asian fusion restaurants in the North East, today the team have honed their skills to offer an eclectic menu packed with flavours from a diverse mix of geographies and dining traditions. You’ll find favourites from across Asia here – from soups and small plates inspired by streetfood markets to noodle and rice bowls, wok sitr-fry classics, and a selection of curries. Lunchtime visitors will enjoy a tranquil place to sample small plates, while in the evening you’ll be transported to a little piece of Bangkok just a stone’s throw from Durham Cathedral.

The prize is for the winner and a guest, and cannot to be given away as a gift. It includes two welcome drinks (beer, house wine, cocktails or soft drinks), two starters or a sharing starter, and two main dishes. The prize is to be taken before September 30, 2025 and is to be arranged directly with Zen (dates subject to availability). The prize is non-transferable, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, and there is no cash alternative. All extras to be paid for. The winner will be drawn at random and notified within three days of the closing date.
