Hot mulled cider
 
 
Serves: 8
Ingredients
  • 2 litres apple cider
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp allspice berries
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 4 star anise
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • zest of ½ lemon in thin strips
  • 50g dark brown sugar
Method
  1. Heat all ingredients in a large pan over a low heat.
  2. Serve in glass mugs.
