Seekh kebabs
 
 
Serves: 4
Ingredients
  • 500g lamb mince
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • ½ cup fresh chopped coriander
  • juice of ½ lemon
  • 2 tbsps natural yoghurt
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 2-3 green chillies very finely chopped
  • salt to taste
  • sunflower oil
  • 1 large onion cut into thin rings (to serve the kebabs on)
Method
  1. Mix all ingredients together, refrigerate for 1 hour.
  2. Soak wooden skewers in water, divide mix into equal portions, form into sausage shapes and press onto each skewer.
  3. Grill, basting with oil as necessary, until cooked through – about 5 mins each side.
